Our NPM team has been working hard over the past month to confirm the programme for IIRC24 which will be held at Waipapa Taumata Rau, 12 - 15 November. With more than 500 participants confirmed, seven keynotes and 200+ paper presentations, IIRC24 is not to be missed!

Another significant gathering is also set to take place with our MAI doctoral network hui-ā-tau which will also be hosted in Tāmaki, from 7 -10 November. MAI ki Tāmaki lead Abigail McClutchie and her team are preparing to welcome around 100 Māori postgraduate scholars from MAI sites across Aotearoa, as well as Indigenous postgraduate students from Australia.

Finally, NPM senior researcher Professor Helen Moewaka Barnes will be leading out our next Wānanga Paetukutuku webinar on October 16, on the kaupapa ‘Te Whare Pora, mātauranga Māori pregnancy, birthing and beyond’. Registration details can be found later in this e-pānui.
