In last month’s e-pānui we announced that Distinguished Professor Marcia Langton AO FASSA FTSE will be the opening keynote for our International Indigenous Research Conference to be held in Tāmaki from November 12 to 15. We are excited to confirm seven more keynote speakers for IIRC - each of them exceptional, each of them embodying our conference theme ‘Whītiki Taua: Research Solidarities. You can read more on them below, or check out the IIRC website.
As a precursor to IIRC, we will also be holding an Indigenous Data Sovereignty Masterclass in Tāmaki on 11 November. Leading IDSov mātanga from Aotearoa and abroad will be sharing insights, tips and tools on their areas of IDSov expertise. Places will be capped at 100 and registration will be via the IIRC website - keep an eye out for when it opens later this month! Masterclass participants will need to be registered for at least one day of IIRC.
